Bath & Stonehenge

What a brilliant day, went back to bath to finish off what we didn't get to see yesterday, mainly the Roman Baths. They were much bigger than I imagined and so many different rooms, so interesting, we both enjoyed these very much, then a tour of the outer town with views over Bath, then on to Stonehenge. We decided to take the back roads and see some of the countryside, and went through many small villages, one of which we stopped at to get some photo's.

Driving on these narrow country roads is quite a challenge but the drivers here are so courteous that many difficult situations seemed like nothing to them and they were very forgiving of me who even with the aid of a GPS still didn't know where he was going.

It was great to see Stonehenge again, although I don't remember the first time although I have a photo of me sitting on the stones. Then the tiresome drive into London due to a number of very long traffic jams, then Lex's first taste of the the underground on the way to our hotel.
