The Old Manor House built in 1609 is our B&B for two nights. It is situated in Keynsham, a pretty little town with some lovely walks around the local river, which we did this morning before breakfast. We'd spotted some op shops last night on our walk and this morning I had to drag Lex out of them so we could start our day. We started at Oldland Common, a lovely little town which one of us found more exciting that the other, but I coped! :-) We had to stop and take photos of everything with OLDLAND on it!!
From there we went to Bath, an incredibly picturesque place with beautiful buildings and soooo many people. A real tourist destination and we could see why. We walked around it all afternoon until we both had blisters, then we stopped and had some dinner at a nice little cafe and got talking to other diners, one who recognised our Aussie accents and started a conversation and then others joined in.
We didn't have time to visit the old Roman baths so we're going back there in the morning to do that.
